About Us

Heidi was born and continues to live
in the mountains of the Carolinas
where ‘mountain people’
are often referred to as ‘survivors.’ 
Little did she know that she would comprehend
the word ‘survivor’ to the depths that she does. 
In 2004, Heidi embraced the ‘pink ribbon’
as her badge of courage and honor;
it is her legacy of survival from a battle
with the beast known as breast cancer.
  Heidi's cancer journey,
along with her sister’s untimely death,
has inspired her to participate
and volunteer in breast cancer events,
speak at breast cancer awareness conferences,
and return to school.

Speaking fees/terms

Fees: Keynote presentation fees subject to vary.  

Travel expenses include: unrestricted round trip airfare, ground transportation, meals, hotels (with guarantee for late arrival) will all be in addition to the speaking fee.

Deposits: A 50% non-refundable deposit is requested within 30 days of contract signing. The remaining 50% payment is due the day of the event. You may deduct 5% if full payment is received in lieu of the deposit.

Cancellation Policy: If the program is cancelled for any reason more than sixty (60) days prior to the agreed date, it's Heidi's policy to reschedule (within 12 months) for the same fee. If rescheduling is not an option for the client, the deposit will be retained by the speaker. Should you need to cancel the program sixty days or less before the date of the program the full speaking fee is due and payable by the date of the original program.

Media Interviews: Heidi is available for newspaper, radio and television interviews prior to the event if time allows.
